November Events

There are a lot of great November events in Burlington. We chose a few that sounds like fun for you and the whole family. Fall is such a wonderful time of year and as we enter November we edge closer to the holiday season. Today I chose some events that are holiday themed. Let me know what event’s this month you’re looking forward to.

Tea Festival

When: November 9th, 10am – 4pm

Where: Royal Botanical Gardens, 680 Plains Rd West

About the Tea Festival: November events wouldn’t be right without a festival with teas to warm you up. Check out the Tea Festival and try teas from around the world. There will also be live entertainment and a traditional tea ceremony, plus venders with lots of gift ideas for Christmas.

Aldershot Village Tree Lighting

When: November 16th, 3pm – 6pm

Where: Sun Country Plaza, 355 Plains Rd East

About the Aldershot Village Tree Lighting: This is an annual event that’s fun for the whole family. You’re also encourage to bring non perishable food for the HRPS Cram A Cruiser Food Drive in support of the Compassion Society. There will also be a children’s choir, performance by The James Farris Band and horse drawn carriage rides. And of course there will be vendors so you can get a head start on your Christmas shopping.

Fest-of-Ales

When: November 28th, 6pm – 11pm

Where: Royal Botanical Gardens, 680 Plains Rd West

About the Fest-of-Ales: This is a 19+ event so make sure you have your ID’s for this one. Tickets for this event range from $10-$35. You’ll be celebrating Ontario’s independent craft breweries at the 5th annual Fest-of-Ales. The craft beer fest takes place over 2 nights, November 28th and 29th. Event goers will receive a mug and 6 drink tickets. And you can try some of the food from various food vendors and there will be a cash bar.

Holiday Craft Market

When: November 29th and 30th, Saturday 6pm – 9pm and Sunday 10am – 4pm

Where: Ron Joyce Centre, 4350 South Service Rd

About the Holiday Craft Market: At the Holiday Craft Market you’ll listen to live music while you search for unique gifts. You can also enjoy food and drinks while you wander around and take in the different vendors. There will be 60 makers, artists and small business owners from Halton, Toronto, Hamilton and Niagara.
